Beechcraft Hawker 800XP

The improvements in cruise and climb speeds, runway performance and weight limits makes this third generation of the 800 series Hawker one of the most successful private jets built.  The Hawker 800XP is designed to accommodate short range flights, transcontinental flights as well as some international flights.

The cabin configuration typically accommodates 8 passengers (four person club section, three-person divan, and one forward-facing seat).  The cabin comfort is enhanced by fully adjustable seats that swivel 180 degrees and the sound

proofing that provides a typical low 70-decible level. The cabin also has a height of 5.7 feet and is 21.3 feet long and 6 feet wide along with a baggage compartment with access during flight to accommodate 48 cubic feet of luggage.  The cabin maintains a sea level cabin at 22,200 feet due to a pressurization of 8.6 psi.

The Hawker 800XP has the ability to reach an altitude of 37,000 feet in twenty minutes due to the power of the two Allied Signal TFE731-5BR engines providing 4,660 pounds of thrust.  This aircraft will be able to avoid traffic or weather as it can fly up to 41,000.

Shorter runways for long flights are not a problem for this aircraft.  The runway requirement at sea level is 5,032 feet which increased to 7,952 feet at an elevation of 5,000 feet.  A longer range and higher loading capacity is achieved by utilizing the Hawker 1000 wing when modifying the Hawker 800XP.  It is possible to fly from New York to Las Vegas or Hong Kong to Beijing with six passengers, crew, and their baggage as the maximum range is 2,900 miles (2,540 nautical miles).

The Honeywell SPZ-8000 avionics suite is displayed on five screens and some analog controls which includes GPS, High Frequency communications, GPWS (Ground Proximity Warning System), TCAS II (Traffic Collison Avoidance System), and dual autopilot.

If you are looking for a private jet that provides fuel economy and also provides the climb and cruise capabilities along with the ability to utilize shorter runways on longer than average flights, you should consider the Hawker 800XP.
